To ANYONE interested in a makeup career I HIGHLY recommend this academy!!! Truly a fun AND educational environment! I was about to invest both financially and physically in a new career, kinda scary. I definitely did my research; I visited tons of schools but, I ultimately fell in love with this academy. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME school *_*... I'm one week away from graduating and I'm 100% sure I made the best decision of my life. I was afraid of finding a school were I was going to waist my time and most important waist MY MONEY... but in All About FACE Academy I found everything I needed. They have awesome teachers, who are very knowledgeable and extremely accessible. Small classes, which I got a lot of one on one attention. On-the-job training, which not everybody offers. They're up to date with fashion and all current makeup techniques. And the owner, Nakeah Fuller is the most wonderful person you will ever meet. She cares about every single student. Her and the teachers gave me inside tips of this beauty industry that nobody else would give. They truly, truly open themselves up and guided me every step of they way. I strongly recommend the All About Face Academy to anyone who is interested in doing makeup; it was the most amazing experience. I took the 15 week night class last August and I learned so much. All of the instructors and staff are very knowledgeable and super helpful. I love that the class sizes are kept to a minimum because it gave me the chance to have a lot of one-on-one time with the instructors and had invaluable hands on approach to everything taught. They really take the time and make the effort to make sure you understand the concepts and acquire the skills needed to become a successful makeup artist. During the course, I got the chance to participate in many fashion shows in the Hollywood and Los Angeles area and assist on photo shoots so that upon completion I already started building my resume. Everyone there is so amazing and upbeat. They really make it a truly enjoyable experience.

I just wanted to let you know that I am loving the class. All of the instructors are very caring and are great at teaching us the skills that we need to be successful. I'm especially enjoying the way they educate us about the real world and the business part of being a professional makeup artist. The homework assignments that are given to us help us do our research and teach us what options we have, from unions to freelance work, etc. The teachers are really good as they give us the techniques to apply makeup fast and accurate. Also, the feedback they give me make me practice more.

I'm currently a student at the All About  FACE Academy in effort to become a professional makeup artist. I am very happy and excited to have chosen the All About FACE Academy. Kudos! Kudos! Kudos! I attended the All About FACE Academy for a workshop. The workshop was a success so I enrolled in the full program. It is phenomenal! I'd highly recommend this school to everyone. Attending the All About FACE Makeup Academy was the best choice that I made for my career. I’ve learned so much! Hi Nakeah,
   This is random and you probably don't remember me, but I wanted to say “thank you”. You are amazing & so talented. I actually attended ???? Beauty Academy where you were a guest teacher but you never taught my actual class. As you were observing my class, you came in from time to time to see what my class was doing. I actually was bummed that you never actually taught our particular class because you were so friendly and so knowledgeable. Anyways, at one point you told our class that we should always bring positivity to our shoots. Always keep the energy and the vibe up. No matter what's going on, whether it's with the model, photographer...etc. Always be up and positive. Well, I have taken those few words of advice and always remembered them on the shoots I've done. And in return, I've been thanked by many photographers for my upbeat attitude, even during odd circumstances.
   I know it probably seems random that I'd write you and thank you for such few words of advice... but as a teacher, I figured that you'd really take this to heart. It's funny how such a small interaction with someone can affect us. If I had that much influence from you in such a short amount of time.... I can only imagine what you're students are taking with them as they graduate and move on from you. :)

My name is Dominique, I have been a professional fashion model for the past few years and have worked with Make-up artists on three continents in the course of my career. When Nakeah Fuller invited me to join her and her students for their very first lesson at the All About Face Makeup Academy after we had worked together several times, I jumped at the chance to get what I thought would be an informative glimpse into the craft that has so often been performed on me. Little did I know how little I knew about the artistry behind an occupation I thought I was familiar with! Not only have I been able to communicate with make-up artists about the creative decisions made on set much better since taking Nakeah's class, but I have found that applying my own make-up on a daily basis has become something I enjoy doing. In three short hours, Nakeah gave me a great appreciation for her trade, better equipped me to be a working member of this industry, and boosted my confidence in my own femininity.
