As you were observing my class, you came in from time to time to see what my class was doing. Anyways, at one point you told our class that we should always bring positivity to our shoots. Always keep the energy and the vibe up. When Nakeah Fuller invited me to join her and her students for their very first lesson at the All About Face Makeup Academy after we had worked together several times, I jumped at the chance to get what I thought would be an informative glimpse into the craft that has so often been performed on me. Little did I know how little I knew about the artistry behind an occupation I thought I was familiar with! Not only have I been able to communicate with make-up artists about the creative decisions made on set much better since taking Nakeah's class, but I have found that applying my own make-up on a daily basis has become something I enjoy doing.
