FAQ: Why should I attend the All About FACE Academy?
Answer:  We offer a very creative and fun working environment as our students receive extensive training, advanced techniques, and success proven knowledge. Students are given on- the-job training & hand-on training while learning unbeatable knowledge and techniques from some of the best artists in the industry today.
 
The All About FACE Academy is located on the legendary Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, CA. We are conveniently near many Film & Television Studios, Designer Boutiques, Restaurants, and more! 

Our students are treated with great respect as true professionals who have learned from the industry’s best. The All About FACE Academy has gained an outstanding reputation in the industry of beauty, film/tv, bridal, and fashion.  Because of our advanced training, our students gain advanced knowledge of working with every skin type and with every ethnicity; without being in a crowded classroom.  We only accept 6 students per class NOT 20 as we assure dynamic hands-on training for each & every student.

For the convenience of school or work schedules, we offer both day & evening classes. Depending on your schedule, we can allow students to transfer from day classes to evening .

Compliments of the Academy, we frequently host great industry mixers. Our mixers allow every student the opportunity of networking with other industry professionals; such as Photographers, Film/TV Producers, Directors, Designers, Actors, Fashion Stylists, Makeup Artists, Hair Stylists, Publicists, Magazine Editors, and Models.

FAQ: What is the maximum amount of students per class?
Answer:  We are a small private academy.  We allow only 6 students per class. We offer extensive industry-based experience.  Each student is given personal hands-on training as we know the true importance of each student receiving the right attention that it takes to successfully learn specific techniques and the right skills which are required to be successful in the business of Professional Makeup Artistry.

FAQ: What products are included in the student’s makeup kits?
Answer:  We provide the absolute best professional products on the market today. We avoid non-professional products by providing All About FACE students with professional products from the very start; high quality products that are for high definition cameras and products that are paraben free. Our products are used by world renowned makeup artists and Hollywood celebrities. This is necessary in order to learn extensive technique and precise application.  Students learn with the best products while preparing to work in the real world of professional makeup design & hair styling.

FAQ: Are students given discounts on products?
Answer:  AAF Students receive an All About FACE Student Id Card; which allows additional discounts for Makeup Artists Tradeshows, Hair Shows, Special Events, Movie Tickets, and further discounts at Nakeah Cosmetics Makeup Stores.

FAQ: Do your students learn Special FX Makeup?
Answer:  We go the extra mile to make sure there’s no job that an All About FACE Graduate can’t handle.  Our students enjoy learning every aspect of Special Effects makeup while learning from the very best Special Effects artists in the industry today.

FAQ: How informative is the Airbrush Class?
Answer:  Students learn every aspect of Airbrush Makeup as some brides and entertainers request Airbrush Makeup for many great reasons.  We cover beginner, intermediate, and advanced Airbrush techniques while using the best quality of Airbrush equipment and products.

FAQ:  Do you offer Professional Photo shoots?
Answer: Professional Photo Shoots take place at the end of the program. During each shoot, our students work with Professional Beauty & Fashion Models, along with the industry’s best Fashion & Beauty Photographers. We also provide an advanced hair stylist if requested.

FAQ: Do you offer job placement after graduation?
Answer:  We have partnered with Nakeah Cosmetics, Designers, Photographers, and Production Companies. We promote All About FACE Graduates to the fullest on our website, at events, during production meetings, and at our retail stores, and on the red carpet during Fashion Week and during award season.  Because of our great reputation; we’re often called upon for jobs in the entertainment and fashion industry worldwide.  During our program, every student is trained during our business development course which gives dynamic education regarding the overall business of being a true professional in every aspect of the Film/TV, Bridal, Runway, Editorial, and Commercial Print world.  Our students are given step-by-step guidance of ways to market his/her business for success; while also working directly with our in-house graphic designers to design the right business tools. Our students know what it takes to market his/her skills professionally & effectively.  Based on his/her classroom performance, many of our students gain the opportunity to work in the professional industry before completing our program in the area of their choice; Film/TV, Bridal, Fashion, Theatre,  and/or Commercial Print.

FAQ: What are your payment options?
Answer:  We offer flexible payment options if needed.  Based on the criteria, circumstance, and/or qualification of the student, we can finance your tuition for you.  A down payment is required. To qualify for our financing program, the student must be employed. If the student is not employed, his/her parent, guardian, or spouse must be employed and must be visible to sign a contractual agreement. Students must provide proper identification.  As well, students have the option to take out a personal loan through a local bank or online educational funding programs. Please contact our office to discuss payment options.

FAQ:  Does your entire staff have professional industry experience?
Answer: Yes.  All of our staff members offer advanced knowledge, a tremendous amount of experience, and dynamic credentials as leaders in the industry of film, television, bridal, runway, editorial and commercial print. Our instructors are artists of today! Our entire staff consists of successful artists in the beauty, fashion, and entertainment industry.

FAQ:  Who will be teaching our classes?
Answer: Classes are taught by our unique & gifted staff.  Students receive the opportunity to learn specific, hands-on techniques and magnificent skills from our Founder/CEO: Nakeah Fuller as her work is often seen in national magazines, on red carpets, in feature films, television commercials, billboards, and more!

FAQ: Does All About FACE Makeup Academy Students receive real life training & experience?
Answer:  Yes.  All of our students have the opportunity to expand their knowledge beyond the classroom. We make sure all of our students gain real live experiences prior to graduation as we expand the skills of every student at runway shows, during magazine shoots, by attending film & television sets throughout each term.
