FAQ: Why should I attend the All About FACE Academy?
Answer:  We offer a very creative and fun working environment as our students receive extensive training, advanced techniques, and success proven knowledge. Students are given on the job training, while learning unbeatable knowledge and techniques from some of the best artists in the industry today.
 
     The All About FACE Academy is located in Downtown, Los Angeles as we are conveniently near major freeways; such as the 110, 101, and the 10 freeway. We’re also very close to the Metro Rail & Bus Line. As well, students enjoy the Coffee Shop, Nail Salon, Wing Stop, and Salad Farm restaurants and more... which are all conveniently located in the same shopping plaza as the All About FACE Academy.

     Our students are treated with great respect as true professionals who have learned from the very best. The All About FACE Academy has gained an outstanding reputation in the industry of beauty, film/tv, and fashion. Because of our advanced training, our students gain the knowledge of working with every skin type and with every ethnicity; without being in a crowded classroom.  

     For the convenience of school or work schedules, we also offer both day & evening courses for you. Depending on your work schedule, students are allowed to transfer from day classes to evening classes at any time.  

     Compliments of the Academy, we frequently host great industry mixers. Our mixers allow every student the opportunity of networking with other working professionals; such as Photographers, Film/TV Producers, Designers, Fashion Stylists, Makeup Artists, Hair Stylists, Film/TV Directors, Publicists, Magazine Editors, Models, and Actors.
 

MAKEUP SCHOOL COMPARISON CHART

FAQ: What is the maximum amount of students per class?
Answer:  We are a private school and allow up to 6 students per session. We offer extensive industry-based experience. Each student is given personal hands-on training as we know the true importance of each student receiving the right attention that it takes to learn specific techniques and skills that are actually required to be a successful Makeup Artist.

FAQ: What products are included in the student’s makeup kits?
Answer:  We provide the best professional products on the market today. In our kits, you’ll find products by Ben Nye, Krynolan, MAC Cosmetics, Cinema Secrets, Japonesque, Makeup Forever, RCMA and much more! Having great quality products is essential for every true professional; therefore, we provide every student with only the best makeup & hair products. This is necessary in order to learn extensive technique and precise application. Students learn with the best products while preparing to work in the real world of professional makeup design & hair styling.

FAQ: Are students given discounts on products?
Answer:  AAF Students receive an All About FACE Student Id Card; which allows additional discounts for Makeup Artists Tradeshows, Hair Shows, Special Events, Cosmetic Stores and even further discounts on amazing product brands, such as MAC Cosmetics, Airbrush Makeup Products, Makeup Forever Products, Frends Beauty Supply, Namies Beauty Supply, the All About FACE Academy Product Store and more!

FAQ:  Do you offer Professional Photo shoots?
Answer: Professional Photo Shoots take place at the end of the course. During each shoot, our students work with Professional Beauty & Fashion Models, Designers, Wardrobe Stylists, along with the industry’s best Fashion & Beauty Photographers.

FAQ: Do you offer job placement after graduation?
Answer:  We have partnered with a few cosmetic lines and production companies. We do promote All About FACE Graduates to the fullest and because of our great reputation, we’re often called upon for jobs in the entertainment and fashion industry. We promote our graduate students via our company website as well. During our program, each student takes our business development course. Students are given step by step guidance of ways to market his/her business for success; while also working personally with our in-house graphic designers in developing the right tools that it takes to market his/her skills professionally & effectively. Based on their great classroom performance, many of our students have had the opportunity of working professional industry jobs even before graduation.

FAQ: What are your payment options?
Answer:  We offer flexible payment options as needed. We offer a loan program as well. Based on the criteria &/or circumstance of the student, we may be able to finance your tuition for you. A down payment is required. To qualify for our financing program, the student must be employed. If the student is not employed, his/her parent, guardian, or spouse must be employed and must be visible to sign a contractual agreement. FAQ:  Does your entire staff have professional industry experience?
Answer: Yes. All of our staff members offer advanced knowledge, experience, and credentials as working professionals in film, television, bridal, fashion, and commercial print. Our staff members are artist of today! Our staff consists of  successful artists from salon owners to clothing designers, celebrity fashion stylists, celebrity known makeup artist & hair stylists.

FAQ:  Who will be teaching our classes?
Answer: Classes are taught by our unique & gifted staff. Students also receive the opportunity to learn specific, hands-on techniques and magnificent skills from our founder Nakeah Fuller as her work is often seen in national magazines, on the red carpet, in feature films, commercials, billboards, award shows, and more!

FAQ: Does All About FACE Makeup Academy Students receive real life training & experience?
Answer:  Yes. Our students have the opportunity to expand their knowledge beyond the classroom. We have unique field trips to national magazine shoots, film & tv sets, designer showrooms, red carpet events, and more.
